We know Thanksgiving is typically all about the food, but for those of you looking for a task to assign your non-cooking guests, how about some fun Turkey Day decor? We have an easy balloon DIY that is perfect for decorating the Thanksgiving buffet, or for props at a Friendsgiving photo booth. Turn balloons into a hilarious turkey for your Thanksgiving decor, but this one’s not for eating.
Supplies:
- Balloon Time Helium Tank
- One, 11-inch tan balloon
- Two, 6-inch tan balloons
- White tissue paper
- String
- Scissors
- Glue dots
- Tape

Instructions:
- Cut two strips of tissue paper that are six inches by two inches each. Cut fringe along one side of each strip.
- Inflate the 11-inch balloon with helium and tie with string.
- Inflate one 6-inch balloon with helium and knot it. Take a small piece of tape and tape one end of your tissue paper strip to the knot of the balloon. Wrap it around and around the knot, and finally tape the other end in place. Flare out the tissue fringe with your fingers. Repeat this with the other 6-inch balloon.
- Place a couple glue dots onto one side of the 6-inch balloon and adhere it to one side of the 11-inch balloon. Repeat with the other balloon on the other side, making sure they are even. Now, you’re done!
