Ice Cream Party

Party, Styling, Text and Photos by Sara Schmutz of Confetti Sunshine

“I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!”

Since we found ourselves singing that little tune every time we started planning this ice cream party, we ran with it and created an ice cream party theme based off of our favorite childhood tune. We created a fun free printable engineering print poster to help carry our ice cream theme to the party. Then, we bunched balloons in our party color palette (sky blue, yellow, coral, red, and ice cream scoop!) to frame our dessert table.

Create an ice cream bar where guests can create their own ice cream flavor. Download our free printable ice cream label to place on the ice cream containers that you can pick up at a local restaurant store.

Instructions:

  1. Download and print out the free printable on to sticker paper.
  2. Cut out the circles and stick them on each ice cream container. There is space for your guests to write their created ice cream “flavor” as well as their name in the white space of the sticker.

Some of the ingredients that we had on hand for our guests were: vanilla ice cream, chocolate ice cream, mint ice cream, chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, fudge syrup, caramel sauce, our favorite gummy candies, nuts, mini peanut butter cups, mint chips, and more! We also had a few little snacking candies on hand for our guests.
