Kitty Birthday Party
Party, Styling, Text and Photos by Sara Schmutz of Confetti Sunshine

Welcome to our adorable kitty themed birthday party! We love it when the birthday child comes up with a fun and unique theme for their celebration — and an animal-themed party is always a little extra adorable. We chose fun colors, such as coral pink and silver, but this party could easily be done with any and all colors of the rainbow.

A party is never complete without some fun party food. While adults might be picky when it comes to how the food tastes, kids are more picky about how the food goes along with their party theme. We started with some vanilla and chocolate-topped cupcakes for the center. Then we added some kitty favorites: red fish, kitty chocolate kisses, and kitty motif-adorned lollipops.

To make the kitty lollipops, we just purchased white lollipops and black paper. Be sure to watch the lettering and colors on the lollipops. You’ll want them to be as white or clear as possible. Cut some small whiskers and a nose out of the black paper and glue the whiskers and nose onto the packaging of the white lollipops. This is a project that would be perfect to get the birthday child to help out with.
