Embroidery Balloon Collage

Creating fun balloon projects is one of our favorite things to do. Especially in the middle of winter, when a snow day is called. These colorful balloon can be exactly what you need to brighten up the day. Sometimes I blow up about 10 balloons and the kids are happy for hours upon end.

For bigger kids, creating easy projects they can do can make a long winter day feel more fun and encouraging creativity is always a win in my book. These embroidered balloons are simple enough that most big kids could tackle them and it will make the afternoon fun for everyone.

Instructions:

  1. Start by blowing up your balloons with your Balloon Time Helium Tank.
  2. Think of the design you might want to create on the balloon. Hearts and stars are great, or short words can be fun as well.
  3. Cut the embroidery thread to match the design in mind. Then use a glue stick to attach the string onto the balloons. I love using a glue stick because there isn’t much added weight so the balloons will float all day long
