Floating Head Halloween Friends

Looking for an amusing yet charming way to liven up your Halloween décor? You can bring your favorite ghoulish characters to life this year – from vampires and skeletons to Frankenstein himself – in just a few easy steps!

Supplies:
- Balloon Time Helium Tank
- Green, silver and white latex balloons
- Halloween Friends printables
- Plain paper
- Card stock
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Tape
- Black permanent marker
- Black paint
- Paint brush
- Fishing wire
Face Printables Body Printables
Instructions:
Frankenstein
- Cut out the printable Frankenstein face elements and body.
- Fill a green balloon using your Balloon Time Helium Tank.
- Tape the balloon to a bowl to keep it from floating away.
- Use a glue stick to attach the hair, eyes, nose, and mouth to the balloon.
- Draw a “stitch” across the forehead with a black marker.
- Tie a fishing wire string to the balloon. Use tape to attach Frankenstein’s body to the string, a couple inches away from the balloon face.
Skeleton
- Print and cut out Skeleton face and body elements (use plain paper for the face and cardstock for the body).
- Fill a white latex balloon using your Balloon Time Helium Tank.
- Tape the balloon to a bowl to keep it from floating away.
- Use a glue stick to attach the eyes and nose to the balloon.
- Draw a “stitched mouth” on the balloon with a black marker.
- Tie a fishing wire string to the balloon.
- Use tape to attach the Skeleton’s body to the string, a couple inches away from the balloon face.

Vampire
- Cut out the printable Vampire face elements and body.
- Fill a silver balloon using your Balloon Time Helium Tank.
- Tape the balloon to a bowl to keep it from floating away.
- Use a glue stick to attach the eyes and nose to the balloon.
- Use a black marker to draw the outline of a widow’s peak hairline above the eyes.
- Fill the widow’s peak hairline with black craft paint. Let dry for 15 minutes.
- Tie a fishing wire string to the balloon. Use tape to attach the Vampire’s body to the string, a couple inches away from the face.


*Tip: It’s important to use the lightest weight paper possible for the face elements so that they don’t add too much weight to the balloons.
