Painted Bunny Balloons
DIY Project by A Subtle Revelry

In preparing for Easter, we often tend to lean towards the pastel and sweet-looking decorations, but sometimes a bold-painted bunny is exactly what we need. These bunny balloons will quickly liven up the Easter decorations and are a fun painted display for all the spring parties.

We found these bunny balloons online, although they had a printed faces that had to go. A little paint and denim layering creates a whimsical look and can be customized for whatever the spring party is – lots of pink layers for a baby shower or teal for a birthday. For Easter, we love the idea of going bright and bold with marks of abstract paint all around.

We even brought in a little extra bunny-fun, making a large bunny wall hanging and creating bunny donut holes with simple ears backed with toothpicks for a sweetly bold Easter party.

Supplies:
- Balloon Time Helium Tank
- Bunny balloons
- Paint and fabric
- Ribbon
Instructions:
- Blow up the balloons using the Balloon Time Helium Tank and tie with a ribbon.
- Use paint to add an abstract-touch to the bunny balloons and cover up the pre-printed faces. One of my favorite things about messing with balloons at home is how easy it is to use paint, glitter and other fun supplies to create unique balloon looks for all the holidays.

Hop to it and make this Easter a bright and bold celebration.
