This Project Is Part Of The “Love is Blinding Bridal Shower” Party Series.
Make these shiny gem balloons with Mylar balloons and washi tape.
Supplies:
- Balloon Time Helium Tank
- Mylar balloons
- Black washi tape
- Computer paper
- Scissors
- Ribbon
Instructions:
- Cut out an octagon that is about seven inches wide from computer paper. This will be your template for making the gem balloon.
- Lay the octagon shape on top of an un-inflated Mylar balloon. Cut pieces of tape the length of the sides of the octagon and adhere them to the balloon around the octagon.
- Cut an additional eight strips of tape and run one from each point of the octagon to the edge of the balloon.
- Inflate the balloon using the Balloon Time Helium Tank and tie with ribbon.
You can use the same technique on other shapes, like diamonds and cubes, to make other gems.
